Well, it’s another rainy day here at my studio and it seems spring and April are truly here. I’ve been busy getting a BIG order ready for a wonderful store in Colorado (can you guess?) that is going to become our next stockist!
In other news, our summer workshops are starting to fill up! Did you see the newsletter about that last week? I’m hosting three summer workshops here at the dye studio where we’ll be learning about natural dyes. We’ll explore the primary colors as represented in nature. June’s workshop covers natural reds, July covers yellows and August will explore blues (we won’t be getting into indigo). This day-long workshop will include breakfast, lunch, and your own dye kit to take home with you once the day is over. $150 per student! For all the details, visit our summer workshops page.
Also, we’ll be coming up to Connecticut here in a few weeks for our second trade show, Stitches United! I’m really excited to be coming up and am working hard to dye a lot of beautiful yarn for you all! This time, I’ll be bringing the kids with me, so we’re excited for a blend of work trip/homeschool history road trip. We’ll be debuting the first run of our new and improved Hearth base that comes from Echo View Fiber Mill as well! It’s our same 100% US Merino, but milled especially for us in North Carolina.
What have you been working on lately? Can’t wait to see you all soon!
