Our Fall Plans
Hello all!! Hope this finds you well, and possibly rested after the Labor Day Holiday here in the US last weekend. I did a crazy thing, and didn't check any work related emails or info for the whole weekend.....I thought I'd go crazy, worrying I was not getting back to someone quickly enough, but then realized that everyone is allowed to take time for themselves, so why not me?
Anyhow! So, I have some fun yarn-tastic events coming up this fall that I wanted to share with you! First up is Vogue Knit Live later this month in San Francisco! It's always great to visit the west coast knitting scene, and I can't wait to see everyone! This is their first event in San Francisco and the vendor list looks truly amazing, so I'm really thrilled to get to see some great fiberfolk for a weekend of fun in San Fran!
If you're planning to attend this, but haven't registered yet, make sure to use the special discount code VKLSFVENDOR25 when you register, and you'll receive a seriously great, 25% Off discount off your total registration fee. And also, when you go to the marketplace, make sure to come visit us at Booth #241! I'm really excited to be having Girl on the Rocks' wonderful knitting tools at my booth for the second time, also. She's making some just for Nutmeg Fibers that I can't wait to see in person!!! Here's a peek below at the wonderful knitters tools that Girl on the Rocks makes.
I'll also be bringing some fun new colorways, including some that will be available only at VKL: San Francisco, so make sure to come check it all out. Booth 241!! For the full details on VKL, check out our events page here.
Not far away now, we also have some trunk shows scheduled for this fall at some of our wonderful stockists LYS! More will possibly be added to the schedule, so keep up to date on our events page. So far on our schedule are the following dates:
- Starlight Knitting Society in Portland, Oregon on October 13th and 14th
- Downtown Knits in Apex, North Carolina on October 19th and 20th
We'll be bringing some special colorways just for these events, as well as a variety of colors in all four of our Nutmeg Fibers bases. We have a special kit in the works as well, that I'm excited to be able to send out for these events!
This is a lot of info for now, but we also just wanted to remind you all that our Winter 2018-19 Call for Design Submissions are due in to us by October 15th. To see all the details regarding this, visit our information page here!
Thanks all!!! Can't wait for this next knitting season! What's on your needles right now? I'm working on a Channel Cardigan from Jared Flood!
