Register to participate in our Online Indigo Workshop, from wherever you are in the world, with the ability to ask questions during our live class session and also watch the recorded version of the class at your own pace after the live class session is over!
Pause when you need, fast forward when you need, ask questions in the comments if you aren’t able to watch it live! We want this to be a fun, lifelong learning and community-building event for everyone that chooses to participate.
In this Online Workshop you’ll be learning:
How to make indigo stock
How to begin your first indigo vat
How to dye fibers (wool, cotton and possibly silk) in your indigo vat
How to troubleshoot with your vat

We’ll be having our first ever DOUBLE BOOTH at this one as well, which we are so excited, and let’s be honest a little nervous, about! We are so excited for our visit to New York City this January for VKL:NYC!!! It’s our first NYC event, and our 3rd event with Vogue Knitting! We’ll be tucked away in a back space, BOOTH 227, so make sure to make a point to find us and visit to see what all we’ve brought! We have boxes full of Natural Dye Kits, loads of yarn, Zines, and other goodies to share with you all!!!
I'm very excited to announce that Nutmeg will be coming to Korea in July for the amazing Handmade Korea event! Located in the Coex Hall C Building in the Samseon-dong area of Seoul, I will be bringing my hand-dyed fibers to all the wonderful fiber friends in Korea! Visit Handmade Korea website for all the info. There will be over 700 vendors, all makers of different crafts. It is a 4 day celebration of the Handmade! I am so excited to be a part of it.
I will be bringing yarn, kits, mini-skeins and more to share with my knitting lovers in Seoul! I hope to meet so many new fiber friends and other handmade artists while we are here for this 4 day event!
Our visit to Eylul Yarns is only a week away now! I am so thrilled to be able to finally come visit wonderful store that has been a big champion of our yarn as we've grown over the past year. We will be bringing with us our 4 yarn bases, Hearth, Cabin, Cottage and Retreat, in a variety of colorways. We will also be bringing mini-skein packs, perfect for colorwork projects and other such things, and our Nutmeg Fibers: Summer 2018 Zine!
We see that it has been raining a lot in Osaka recently, but we will be inside, nice and dry, knitting away! So come to visit! I would love to meet you in person! Fibers truly unite us all around the world.
We moved this event one week up, so that I could be at my favorite Nashville Yarn Shop on TNNA's first Local Yarn Store Day!! Old Rusted Chair and The Crafting Treehouse will also be there, and I'm really excited to join in on this fun day! I'll be bringing a variety of all 4 of our bases, plus kits, gradient pack and more that I'm working on right now, just for this day! I'll be there the whole day! I'm really excited to be able to participate in our first Vogue Knit Live event in Chicago this March! We had to miss last fall's Seattle event, and I was so sad that I didn't get to see you all there. So, we're coming up to Chicago instead! We'll be bringing all our bases, plus fun kits and patterns! We are returning to Santa Clara, California next month, for our 4th Stitches Event! Can't wait to see everyone again, and have the best time yet at a Stitches Event! We'll be debuting our new and improved Cabin and Retreat bases here as well, and we can't wait to share!
We’ll be working together on the new Junko Okamoto pattern, Meg Sweater, beginning on January 1, 2018 through February 17th, 2018. You can purchase the pattern from Junko Okamoto’s Ravelry page here. If you’re joining us from Japan, you can visit Eylul Yarns in person to get the yarn for your project. They have 4 lovely colorways ready to go as Sweater Kits. Throughout the month and a half long knit-along, we’ll be giving away prizes to those of you that are participating. I’m really excited about this part of it, and can’t wait to share more details!
